On November 23, DVV International Armenia organized the presentation of the “Wall on the Armenian-Turkish border” book by Anna Muradyan, which reflects the two-week journey of 20 Armenian and Turkish young people as well as Armenian, Turkish and German organizers in several cities and places in Armenia within the "Acting Together" Armenian-Turkish project (dates).
The presentation had a unique format starting at Yerevan-Gyumri train where the participants read and discussed selected abstracts from the book. This was followed by the official presentation, which was held in the Social-Educational Center of Gyumri. Anna Muradyan spoke about the events and experiences that are reflected in the book, the concept of the book and her choices about what should be included in the book. Project participants and guests reflected on how the content of the book related to their own experiences within the Armenia-Turkey normalization process. A separate section of the presentation was dedicated to the book critique from the literary perspective.
