On 6-12 August, 2018, DVV International, within the project “EU4Culture: Stronger Communities and Initiatives“organized and co-funded a week-long Training of Trainers. Entitled „Application of the Basics of “Curriculum GlobALE in the Practice of Non-Formal Adult Education“ this unprecedented professional development opportunity allowed experienced and aspiring Armenian trainers to examine the theoretical and practical aspects of adult education. Our trainers were from areas as diverse as cultural preservation, PR and communication, ecotourism, customer service, project design and many others. Working with adults, educating adults is something that unites them and we are happy to see their enthusiasm to improve their knowledge, skills and attitudes. In this, they were assisted by our excellent trainers from Belarus, Alena Lugovtsova and Sergey Laboda. Each and every day was unique in offering us a great balance between theory and practice, a variety of methods used, valuable feedback. However, as our participants emphasized, the highlight of this ToT were the personal and professional contacts made, the network created, the expectation of future cooperation.
