On 17-22 July 2018 DVVI Georgia Country office hosted delegation of colleagues from Tajikistan. The purpose of the study trip was to learn about the Georgian experience in establishing and running Adult Education centers in the country.
Tajik delegation included DVVI Tajikistan Country Director and representatives of local non-governmental organisations working in the field of Adult Education, During the 4-day visit participants met and shared experience with DVVI Georgia Country office and Georgian Adult Education Network (GAEN) , discussed main steps, successes and challenges of the project “AE centers in Georgia”. They paid visits to 3 AE centers in Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti and Samegrelo regions, observed everyday activities of the centers. met with the AECs’management, beneficiaries and local authorities.
In addition the participants were offered sightseeing and cultural programme.
„The visit was really very useful and motivating. We’ve learnt a lot and will apply knowledge and experience gained in Georgia in the process of establishment similar institutions in our country.
