On April 28, DVV International Armenia organized an “Introductory training on Adult Learning and Education”, which was held at the Dilijan Community Center. The goal of the training was to introduce participants to the main concepts and principles of adult learning, the ways adults learn, as well as such key operational areas as developing a course program, assessment, feedback, etc. ․  New program coordinators and trainers from Adult Education Centers were involved in the training․

Within the framework of the one-day intensive program, the following key topics  were discussed:

  • The characteristics of adult learners and the specifics of working with them
  • Methodological foundations for developing educational programs
  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating training courses. 0

The training was conducted using active learning methods, fostering participants engagement and peer learning.

As part of the training the newly developed booklet “10 Questions and Anwers on ALE” was presented to the participants. This resource will help ALE center stakeholders to form an understanding about ALE, its types, its benefits, providers, etc.

This initiative aimed to strengthen the capacities of professionals working with adult learners, enhance the quality of adult education, and support the creation of collaborative network.
