On November 14-15, the end-of-year network meeting of Adult Education Centers was held in Gyumri, Shirak region. The five centers supported by DVV International that participated in the meeting included: Kachmeruk Educational and Consulting Center Foundation, Dilijan Community Center, Sisian Adult Education Center, Martuni Women’s Community Council NGO, and the newly established KrtaB.A.TS. Aparan Adult Education Center. Staff members of the InStepanavan Foundation were also invited, as the foundation, in collaboration with the Stepanavan Youth Club, aims to become DVV International's 6th supported center starting in 2025.
During the meeting, DVV International Armenia country office summarized its activities for the 2022-2024 three-year cycle and presented the planning for the program phase 2025-2027.
Expert Nazareth Seferyan presented the findings of his diagnostic study of financial stability of adult education centers operating in Armenia with the support of DVV International.
Anahit Hakobyan, program manager at the Hovnanian Foundation, introduced the grants announced by the foundation.
In conclusion, participants affirmed that all key goals and activities of the current three-year cycle were successfully achieved. They emphasized strengthening collaboration with local self-governance bodies as a priority for the next three years.
