On May 9-11, a group of DVV International staff members and representatives of partner organizations from Jordan, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova visited Armenia as part of a study meeting to Caucasus. The program iin Armenia included visits to two adult education center funded by DVV International Armenia, i.e. Sisian Adult Education Center and the Social Educational Center of Shirak Diocese in Gyumri. The Centers hosting the participants of the study visit presented their work reflecting on such aspect as identification of the courses they offer, reach out to potential beneficiaries, job placement efforts, financial and organizational sustainability and many others. In Sisian, the guests from partner countries had a chance to meet participants of a computer literacy course and ask questions about their plans following the training. In Gyumri, they attended a baking master class and learnt how to make a Gyumri specialty pastry. Overall, the exchange was very informative both for the hosts and the guests.
