At the initiative of DVV International Armenia country office, the second non-formal ALE network meeting was held from November 29 to December 1. The three-day workshop was attended by representatives of the Kachmeruk Educational and Consulting Center Foundation, the Sisian Adult Education Center, the Martuni Women's Community Center, the Dilijan Community Center, “Improve our village” NGO and "Sevan Youth Club " NGO .
On the first day, the 2023 activities and , achievements DVV International Armenia country office and partner ALE Centres in 2023 were discussed alongside with areas for improvement.
This was followed by a series of presentations on topics related to the management of ALE Centres, includinglLeadership" and management", the organization's mission and vision, as well as strategic and operational management approaches. Moderated practical exercises and activities allowed the participating organizations to localize these topics in their own settings. These sessions were conducted by Ester Hakobyan, the country director of DVV International Armenia as well as DVV experts Avetik Mejlumyan and Arpine Mazhinyan.
In the second part of the network meeting, A. Mazhinyan, Armenian expert of Curriculum InstitutionALE tool presented the results of self-assessments and peer review conducted by Adult Education Centers in August-November 2023.
On the third day of the meeting, the previous two days were summarized, and the next the initial improvements of Centres within the framework of Curriculum InstitutionALE tool were identified. Plans for 2024 and the next project phase were mapped out.
