On May 25, 2018 DVV International Armenia participated in the traditional Open Doors Day at the German Embassy in Yerevan.
The event officially opened by speeches from key note speakers that included the German Ambassador to Armenia Matthias Kiesler, EU Ambassador Piotr Switalski and French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte.
Several performances, discussions and presentations were included in the program.
DVV International in Armenia had a dedicated booth at the event, where we presented our work and publications. This year, we also featured a special project supported by DVV, i.e. the Obsidian Road, designed and implemented by the Geological Museum, a DVV grantee. As part of the project, a workshop teaching jewelry making with use of obsidian was conducted during the Museum Night. Jewelry made during that day was on display in our booth.
