On December 1- 5, DVV International Armenian office hosted a delegation from Tunisia and Algeria as part of a study visit to exchange experiences in the field of adult learning and education (ALE). The delegation included Nazareth Nazaretyan, Regional Director for DVV International North Africa, representatives of the DVV International offices in Tunisia and Algeria, as well as representatives of various organizations active in ALE in Tunisia.
The delegation, consisting of 18 members, had meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, private sector partners, as well as Adult Learning and Education (ALE) centers and other ALE Network members. The guests had a chance to visitthe Dilijan and Aparan ALE centers supported by DVV International, where they became familiar with the centers’ activities and key areas of work.Within the framework of the intensive five-day program, discussions were held focusing on adult learning and education policies in Armenia, the implementation of ALE programs, the institutional development of ALE centers, and the establishment of cooperation with local governments.
The study visit also included a cultural program allowing the participants to get to know Armenia’s history and its rich culture.
