On June 6, at the annual conference of the European Association for Adult Education, held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, "Sisian Adult Education Center Foundation" was confirmed as an EAEA member. DVV International Armenian country office has been supporting the Sisian Adult Education Center Foundation since 2013. During these years, the center has conducted courses in more than 20 different directions, in which more than 1200 beneficiaries have participated. It has evolved into a well known provider of ALE in the community and is also a member of the non-formal ALE network in Armenia.
EAEA membership is an opportunity to become part of a European wide network of adult educators. An organization eligible to membership shall be any institution or association, having legal personality and legally set-up according to the laws and customs of their country of origin, pursuing a non-profit goal by primarily working in the field of adult education, and having its administrative seat and operational sphere in a European country. The number of members of the EAEA is not limited.
