Adult Education Center has been operating since 2014 with support of DVV International Georgia. The network is an umbrella organization and unites 14 adult and community education centers established by DVV International in nine regions of Georgia.
On December 15, 2023, Georgian Adult Education Center (GAEN) traditionally held its annual summary event, which represented the presentation of a report on the work performed during the current year.
Honored guests were attending the event:

- Dr. Thomas Lichtenberg - Regional Director of DVV International Caucasus and South-Eastern Europe
- Tamar Kitiashvili - General Director of the Skills Agency Georgia
- Keti Tsikhiseli - Deputy Head of Quality Assurance Service of Vocational Education of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement
One of the most important and culminating parts of the event was the awarding ceremony within the framework of the "Best of the Year" competition.
The best beneficiary of the year was the beneficiary of Akhaltsikhe Adult Education Center - Nino Pataridze; the best trainer of the year, Ambrolauri Adult Education Center course trainer of "Making decorative souvenirs using epoxy glue” - Nana Iaralishvili; The best partner municipality - Tetritskaro Municipality; the Best Center of the Year, Bolnisi Adult Education Center and Keda Community Education Center.
The winners were awarded with GAEN prizes and books from Diogene Publishers.
