For a long time, beneficiaries and trainers of Ambrolauri Adult Education Center will remember the 18th of June 2021. German Ambassador to Georgia, H.E. Mr. Hubert Knirsch, visited the center DVV International, established in 2016. He had an opportunity to meet beneficiaries of other vocational, personal development, and cultural education courses, which are part of the Adult Learning Pack provided to the local population without age limitations. Mr. Knirsch talked to the center's trainers and administration and discussed with them the importance of Adult Education as an integral part of the Lifelong Learning concept. As usual, the Ambassador expressed his sincere interest in activities by the center and mentioned that such activities keep life in the region full of energy and create hope and positive expectations. Beneficiaries of felting, house repairing, sewing, wood and stone processing, furniture-making courses, eco-tourism participants, volunteer guides group, and Racha Youth Assembly representatives shared their stories with the honorable guest and answered his questions. The Ethno-music band of the Abrolauri AE Center brightened up the event with a beautiful programme consisting of traditional Georgian songs and modern Ethno-jazz compositions. "We are very thankful to the German government for the support. This visit of the Ambassador and how he evaluated our work motivated us greatly: teachers, beneficiaries, and the center's leadership. We will continue working and keeping high quality in providing the local population with opportunities and services that improve their quality of life and contribute to the development of the Racha-Lechkhumi region. We want DVV International to be always proud of us," - said Nana Sokhadze, Director of the Ambrolauri AE center.
