The purpose of this project of DVV International and the “Women in Business” organization is to support women in business to mitigate the COVID-19 crisis, continue the reform of their business models, in terms of strategic planning, financial management and opportunities in the market.Supporting the growth of women entrepreneurship by identifying new ways to develop and position the market, online commerce, achieved through training of women entrepreneurs in digital marketing and communication.
The activities that are being carried out are:
Select businesses managed by women in different regions of Kosovo, development an online platform that is enabling Online Training, according to the consultancy program. Purchase and delivery of necessary equipment for Online Training to Women Entrepreneurs.
Since the beginning of the project development, 50 women entrepreneurs have built their management capacities to respond to the crisis and to support their businesses.They have reshaped their businesses and drafted new strategic plans, financial management systems (cash flows) and increased their knowledge of access to finance after the pandemic crisis.They also upgraded their businesses by up to 20% due to the application of online commerce.
At least 25 women businesses have increased their productivity by 50% and repositioned themselves in the local market and beyond.
The project is expected to last until November 30 and will fully involve 50 women, from the region of Prishtina, Mitrovica and Peja.
