The signing of the memorandum of understanding with Yerevan State University

 

On February 26, the DVV International Armenia Country office and Yerevan State University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that officially documents  their ongoing partnership. In the framework of the cooperation with YSU, several programs have already been implemented in previous years, and new and interesting initiatives and programs are planned for the next three years. 

 

The MoU plans the following actions for 2025-2027:

  • The implementation of a course on "Basics of Adult Learning and Education: Methodology of Teaching" for YSU lecturers, then transfer of the course to YSU.
  • Introduction  of the Curriculum GlobALE "Digital Module" in YSU, uploading all materials in the e-learning system and implementation of the course for YSU faculty.
  • Research and popularization initiatives in the adult education field, specifically the research on learning cities in Armenia that will be conducted by research groups consisting of students and lecturers of YSU.
  • The development, introduction, and implementation of the "Andragogy" course in YSU’s educational programs.
  • Cooperation with YSU library to foster non-formal educational programs in various ways for promoting reading and active learning.

 

According to the MoU, DVV International and YSU will work on developing and popularizing non-formal education programs, as well as creating innovative learning modules that meet educational requirements.
