Between February and March 2024, DVV International Georgia conducted a comprehensive training program based on the Curriculum ManagerALE for 42 participants. The target group comprised leaders and education program coordinators from 14 Adult Learning and Education centers across Georgia, along with their accountants. This diverse group was selected to enhance the managerial and operational capacities of ALE centers, ensuring a holistic approach to institutional development. Each module was facilitated by subject-matter experts specializing in the respective areas.
The training program spanned 21 days and was structured around six modules of the Curriculum managerALE.
The training programme aimed at developing participants' skills in conducting needs assessments and formulating strategic plans tailored to community requirements; enhancing internal management practices, leadership competencies, and team coordination; fostering effective networking and cooperation with stakeholders and partner organizations; and strengthening financial management capabilities, including budgeting and resource allocation.
The implementation of the Curriculum managerALE training program enhanced the managerial competencies of ALE centers’ leaders and coordinators in Georgia. Participants reported increased confidence in strategic planning, improved internal management practices, and a better understanding of financial oversight. The inclusion of accountants in the training ensured a cohesive approach to financial management within the centers.
