From November 27 to 29, within the framework of the DVV International Georgia Country Office project aimed to strengthen the capacity of the staff of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, a 3-day training for staff of the Adult Education Division under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Adult Education (AE) coordinators of the vocational colleges in Georgia was held in Tbilisi.
In total, 20 persons participated in the training led by a group of trainers: Mrs. Salome Makaridze, Mrs. Tamar Grigolava, and Mrs. Nino Vakhania. The activity was planned to continue the training series for this target group conducted in 2020 and 2021. This time it was dedicated to analysing the Education market and assessing potential employers' needs, their interconnection, cooperation, and implementation of joint initiatives and programmes. The other important aim of the training was to develop the participants' effective communication and negotiation skills needed in their everyday work when implementing educational programs for adults. As usual, the training with AE professionals represented a mixed format of theoretical sessions and practical tasks, individual presentations, and group work. It helped keep the participants' positive spirit, energy, and high involvement.
"I received comprehensive information about the rules of research, data processing, and analysis, which is important and necessary knowledge for people in our profession. I would like to appreciate the professionalism of the trainers sincerely. Thanks to them, the training became fruitful,"- Mr. Irakli Miruashvili, college "Gantiadi."
