The Institute for International Cooperation of the Deutscher Volkshochschul-Verband e.V. (DVV International) and the National Qualifications Authority (NQA), on 14 July 2022, have signed a cooperation agreement in order to implement the project “Support of CSOs for the implementation of the RPL component in Kosovo”.
The project’s goal is to support non-governmental organizations for the implementation of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) component in the Republic of Kosovo. The RPL component aims to improve the appropriate skills of the workforce and increase the employability of individuals who pledge lifelong learning skills.
The implementation of the project will initially be based on preliminary research, through which various non-governmental organizations dealing with Adult Education (AE) in Kosovo will be identified, with special emphasis on the identification of potential qualifications/programs for which the organizations in question can certify their candidates through the RPL component. The selected organizations will have a guidance approach from the NQA and also, in order to increase their capacities, trainings will be organized for quality assurance in the implementation of the RPL
DVV International in Kosovo supports the mission of NQA for the further development of lifelong learning, always in accordance with the needs of individuals and the demands of our society.
