In June 2021, a meeting was held between the Director of the DVV International Office in Kosovo, Mr. Ramadan Alija, and the Deputy Minister of MESTI (Ministry of Education, Science,Technology and Innovation), Mr. Dukagjin Pupovci.
During the meeting, Mr. Pupovci was briefed by Mr. Alija on the current DVV International projects and objectives in Kosovo, which will be implemented in cooperation with MESTI over the next three years (2022- 2024). This will be realized by signing a new Memorandum of Cooperation, which is expected to be signed by both parties during the second half of 2021.During this meeting, Mr. Pupovci was also handed over the final (quantitative and qualitative) reports of the Adult Education Survey (AES) in Kosovo, which was conducted by DVV International in 2019-2021.
Both reports will be used by MEST as reliable and much needed resources for the development of the adult education component, which will be integrated into the new Kosovo Education Strategic Plan (KESP 2022-2026).Both parties agreed on the need to hire an external expert (by DVV International), who will be a member of the core group (of 8 people) and will support MEST in developing the adult education component, which will be integrated as an integral part of KESP 2022-2026.
