Based on the Memorandum of Understanding dated 23/10/2018, signed by MCYS and DVV International, respectively point 3 of this Memorandum which is related to youth empowerment, skilled and prepared youth for the labor market in Kosovo, Modular Courses (3-6 months) for Information Technology and Entrepreneurship have been opened. These courses have been opened at three youth centers located in the municipalities of Ferizaj, Malisheva and Viti.
The main goal of the project is to provide computer literacy and entrepreneurship to at least 100 young persons by the end of 2019, aiming at alleviating unemployment, providing opportunities for establishing small start-ups and self-employment of Kosovan youth from the aforementioned regions.
Project implementation was enabled through co-financing by DVV International and MCYS, with MCYS providing the necessary equipment for two youth centers (Malisheva and Viti), and DVV International providing equipment for the youth center in Ferizaj and covering the cost of trainers from the three youth centers in the above mentioned regions.
