The conference is jointly organized by DVV International, the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the European Association for Adult Education (EAEA), and was heald at the European Committee of the Regions, in Brussels.
The purpose of this conference was to analyse the state of convergence of the adult education and lifelong learning system regarding policies, trends, and best practices of EU member states.
The delegation from Kosovo in this conference was represented by Ms. Rajmonda Kukalaj Brucaj, Head of Division for Internal Market and Trade at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo; Ms. Bora Shpuza, Chief of Cabinet at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI); Ms. Nora Arapi Krasniqi, Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports (MCYS); Ms. Ryve Prekorogja, Director of the Adult Education Sector at MESTI; Mr. Ramadan Alija, Director of DVV International in Kosovo and Mr. Visar Haxhifazliu, Executive Director of the NGO THY – Prizren.
This event provided an important platform to discuss achievements, challenges, and best practices in the field of adult education and lifelong learning, allowing participants from countries such as Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, and Ukraine to share their knowledge and experiences, aiming to enhance systems and adult education in accordance with EU standards.
