On June 29, 2022, the "Curriculum globALE" was launched within the Faculty of Education of the University of Prishtina (UP) "Hasan Prishtina".

The 18 participants in the promotional seminar were representatives from the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), representatives of the Faculty of Education, representatives of other state institutions and other AE providers, representatives of donor organizations, etc.

The Dean of the Faculty of Education at UP, Mr. Blerim Saqipi said that the concept of adult education is a concept that is reflected in their programs, even indirectly, and that with this activity they will also enrich the regular programs, with the concepts which he said are very important for the development of the education system.

Further, the director of the DVV International office in Kosovo, Mr. Ramadan Alija, during the presentation of this project, said that "Curriculum globALE" (CG) supports the professionalism of adult educators and that by providing cross-curricular approaches, it is a unique reference framework for the training of adult educators, which can be easily adapted to national and regional environments.

According to him, by supporting adult educators worldwide, CG improves not only the standard of adult learning and education programs, but also the capacities of countries to meet the Sustainable Development Objectives.

Mr. Alija said that the benefits from the integration of CG within the Faculty of Education are: Sustainable institutionalization of training measures that will be offered to AE educators within the UP (Faculty of Education, respectively by the Institute for Research and Development in Education - IKZHA); Increasing the quality of AE through Training of Trainers (Master Trainers) who will develop training capacities within the AE providers themselves; as well as improving the performance of state and non-state AE providers through the Integrated Development Approach (IDA).

The professor at the Faculty of Education, Mr. Naser Zabeli said that this curriculum is dedicated to institutions and organizations in the field of adult education, who want to meet professional standards. According to him, the curriculum is based on three main pillars: existing programs in the context of DVV International projects; existing national systems of qualifications and standards for teachers; as well as traditional competency standards for adult teachers, developed by European projects.

Meanwhile, the Vice-Dean for Phd Studies Development and Quality Assurance, Mrs. Majlinda Gjelaj, presenting the work of the Institute for Research and Development in Education (IHZHA), has stated that this project is fulfilling the mission of this Institute.

Furthermore, the latest updated version of CG was developed jointly by: DVV International; German Institute for Adult Education (DIE); International Council for Adult Education (ICAE); UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL).
